Commotie

You can sign up for this event at the website of the MARUG via the following link: https://marug.nl/en/for-students/events/overview/product/325/337. Non-MARUG members have to make a temporary account, this means you don't have to become a member of MARUG if you're already a member of Commotie. Important: state on your registration that you're a member of Commotie!

 

The ComMa Congress is a co-operation between the MARUG – the study association for marketing students – and Commotie and is organized by the ComMa Committee. The ComMa Congress is especially interesting for students who want to learn more about marketing and communication, since the link between both worlds will be emphasized. The day consists of workshops and lectures about various interesting topics. Approximately 40 students are expected to participate the ComMa Congress. 

The ComMa Congress of 2020 will take place on the 15th of October. This annual event focuses on subjects within the marketing and communication field. Our theme for this year is The War for Attention: Standing out in a crisis. During this COVID-19 Crisis, limited time and mental resources make it difficult for the audience to dedicate sufficient attention to advertisements thus making the competition for attention more intensive. This war for attention has become more intense. The 2020 event will host 2 speakers and 3 workshops and will be held at Stadslab Groningen, a spacious venue with young and energetic vibes. We are very honoured to have Wehkamp and Bijenkorf to speak at our event about the marketing and communication strategies of the companies during the corona time. After the speech, we invited Heineken, Reprise and Daar-om to give workshops.

Due to the corona measurements, the ComMa Committee has decided that the event will take place online. It will start at 16:00 and the event will end at 21:00. More detailed schedules will be announced to the participants. Since it will be fully held online now, participation is free! The signup at the MARUG page is also open again, so this is your chance if you still want to attend!
