Dear future CIS students,
Like previous years, study association Commotie will organize the yearly introduction weekend for all
new Communication and Information Sciences students. This weekend is the perfect opportunity to
meet your fellow CIS students, get to know the study association Commotie and have a great start of the
academic year.
The introduction weekend is being organized by a committee called the SoCie. The weekend will consist
of a variety of fun activities, games and parties. This year’s theme will be: ‘Commotie Goes Intronational’
because it is the first year the degree will be open to international students. The activities will be kept
secret for a while, but we can tell you it will be an amazing weekend!
In September, we will be traveling to Gorredijk. We’ll leave on Friday September 7 th and will be returning
to Groningen Sunday afternoon September 9 th . Are you interested in starting off your academic year with
this fun weekend? Then sign up here! The costs will be €45 for Commotie members and €50 for non-
members. After you’ve signed up you will receive a confirmation email and later on more information
